More house pics...

We can now see the side of our house! Vance's boy scout troop needed to do a service project and they came to our house :) Where these big trees are on the left was COMPLETELY surrounded by bushes and other trees that were leaning on the house and gutters and just plain blocking the view!
The garage...our neighbor told us that the golden horse on the top is original to the house and a very fun theme to the Victorian homes of the 1800s!
My garden! We missed planting season this year obviously, but next spring this should be fun...
Will and Ben building the chicken's enclosure...
Part of the backyard with a view to our pond and forest...
Will working hard!
The back of the home...again...we can finally see it! Love those boy scouts!!!
These pictures tug at my heartstrings :) They remind me of growing up and how my Dad used to teach us "outdoor stuff." Will is really loving helping his Dad get the "farm" operational :)
Vance's fishing set-up at our pond. He has been catching and eating cat-fish almost every day!
Side yard. On the day they were here, the boy scout leader came about 5 hours earlier to cut down all the trees and bushes for the scouts to drag out...they say smell is a powerful tool on the memory and they were right! All I could think about was our childhood cabin as I smelled the fresh sawdust from a chainsaw :( It got me a little tear-y as I thought of Dad and Grandpa with their leather work gloves and chainsaws rumbling cutting down trees!
My new laundry room...not quite finished...but functional! Ben laid the marble and our contractor built the stand for the washer and dryer, which I am loving! Those of us who are 5' tall appreciate not having to bend over to do laundry :)
Liliya is now officially welcome to make her debut! I have set up her crib, rocking chair, and have stocked her closet!
Hurry up little girl! Don't you know you have a PINK room waiting for you?!
Drake's room...
Another view of Drake's room...
Will and Vance's room...
Vance's corner...
Will's corner...
Brothers...doesn't this room remind you a little of the "boys room" growing up, with it's slanted ceilings, a bed in every corner, and closets tucked into walls with curtains? Love it!
The view from their window...whenever they complain about having to share a room, I should show them this! I mean, REALLY, get over it!!!
