My Favorite Girl

This is my best friend's daughter, Morgan. I am TOTALLY in love with her. Lately when they come over, as I'm putting Drake to bed, she will come in and read a book to him. PRICELESS!

Update

K...I just looked at my blog and realized I have not posted in FOREVER! This is mainly due to the fact that I keep forgetting to bring my camera EVERYWHERE! Vance played in 3 v. 3 soccer league, and can you believe? I forgot my camera at every single game! Anywhooo, he was a superstar! Over the summer Ben would take Will or Vance camping occasionally and teach them about the outdoors :) Will turned 11 this summer and (mainly due to these camping trips) Ben and I decided he was ready for a BB Gun. Right before we left for vacation, the whole family took a camping trip together and it was the first time Will got to try out his gun away from a shooting range.

In case you're wondering...yes...that is a RATTLESNAKE! And it gets even better...Ben, Will, and Vance SKINNED IT AND ATE IT!!! Drake and I did NOT participate! They told me it tasted a little like chicken :) Well, a few weeks after that we took a trip to visit family. Our first stop was Boise, where we went to the waterslides, played in Uncle Ben's pool and fell in love with Deakan and Mavers!!! Holy smokes those boys are fun, fun, fun! Next we went to Vancouver to see Ben's family and had a wonderful visit for about a week. We got see both his brothers and his sister and REALLY enjoyed our time there! Next, was up to Burlington to see my family. Our time there was short, but FUN! The boys rarely came inside and here is what Will did, literally within 10 minutes of getting out of the car...

He is getting to be QUITE a good shot! My sister was able to come our last day there and it was a real treat! I love her so much, and small little Gracie made me think it might be okay to have a girl :) On that note, in case you didn't know, Ben and I are trying to have another baby! No news to report yet, so don't go getting excited :) We finally arrived home after 2 LONG days of travel and Vance got his tonsils out Monday morning. He is doing a lot better now, but the first couple of days were rough. They start school on Tuesday, so I hope he's feeling better by then. I'll TRY to remember to take a couple pictures on their first day. One final thing...Ben and I FINALLY purchased our next flip. It has taken a long time, as we wanted to make sure it was the right deal for us, with low risk. We finally found it. Now, I'd post some pictures, but then I'm sure my phone would start ringing off the hook with my family telling me how CRAZY I am...but let's face it...I AM a little crazy :) So, I think I'll wait to post the BEFORE pictures until I can post them right next to the AFTER pictures! I'm sure this post is full of typos, but when I saw how long it had been between posts, I figured I'd better get something up! I'll try to be better about keeping my family and friends updated on our life.
