Crazy Hair Day at School

Okay, so I'm sure that these pictures will not mean nearly as much to any of you as they do to me, so let me explain my reason for posting. Every once in a while you get lucky enough to witness one of those moments between your children that take your breath away and this was one of those for me. While Drake was crawling as fast as can be, with Vance of course crawling right behind him making him giggle, Drake's jeans came off. He got a shocked little look and his face and turned to Vance, who was cracking up. Vance proceeded to take his pants off too and Drake just lost it! I didn't think it was possible for a baby to laugh so hard. Then Drake reached down and grabbed one of the drumsticks to RockBand and put it in his mouth. Vance grabbed the other and stuck it in his mouth. Vance and Drake were just laughing hysterically! I know Drake was too young to understand what was happening and probably just laughing because Vance was, but something about the way he was looking at his big brother with complete love and adoration made me think that he understood that Vance was copying him and that he loved him. Aren't syblings the best! It made me pause to think aoubt how much I love all my big brothers and my big sister!

7 months old!

Drake turns 7 months old on the 3rd and I wanted to give you an update on all the cute things he is doing! He has 2 teeth (the bottom middle ones) but he has yet to reveal them for a photo - I promise I've been trying! He is crawling and cruising. He is starting to babble alot. He occasionally says "da da" but still has no idea what it means. He is the apple of his big brothers' eyes! They simply cannot get enough of him and neither can we! Below I posted a video of his new favorite passed time - trying to clap! We showed him how a couple of days ago and now barely an hour goes by where he doesn't practice his clapping for a minute or two. His hand-eye coordination is not quite there yet for him to make a noise, but that doesn't stop him! Enjoy!

Christmas 2008

We got "Rockband 2" for the family. We have formed a band and we are "on tour!" Ben and I (Hack Williams and Izzy Stiff) alternate between the guitar and singing, Vance (Stinkbomb) plays the drums, and Will (Wacky Willy) is on the bass guitar. It has been a blast!

Hey everybody...look at all our loot!

Drake crawls at light speed now, but he has decided that it's not fast enough! He has now started to pull himself up on everything from the coffee table to the wall and cruisin' around...it is too adorable!
